What we do

We produce, process and supply tallow in the Americas.

We process the tallow, and trade it commercially to our customers which are manufacturers of cosmetics, including soap and glycerin.

To control processing of tallow, Tallow Verde Group fully owns and manages state of the art slaughterhouses which allows us to process high quality tallow and control our supply to our customers.

At Tallow Verde Group, we see a direct correlation between the welfare of our workers and that of the animals and therefore take welfare of both in high regard. To achieve that we have made welfare an essential part of our company mission and business culture.

When we build and operate slaughterhouses, we build in measures into the design that has the welfare of animals in mind including preventions that animals are stressed, have pain, fall, or slip.

We strive for a humane slaughtering process

Our slaughterhouses are unique in that the grounds they are built on are designed to create an environment where animals upon their arrival distress from the transport. While we practice slaughter, we strive for a more humane slaughter process and provide our animals some last positive experiences during the pre-slaughter period including calm and southing sounds, giving them some time on their own after arrival, and providing conditions that avoid mental suffering.
